The 12 Gauge pump action shotgun is by many, considered to be the most formidable and effective close range firearm for short range defensive applications.  This weapon can devestate and instantly stop an aggressor when the proper shot shells are used. (00 buckshot is my preferred choice).

What? Another New Intern?

Yes, that’s what I said: we have TWO interns this summer! Meet Rachel Gorin, who will be working us primarily at the bookstore but also with RHP – we’re very excited to have her help with advertising, marketing, book events, and special projects at the store. She’ll also be helping out with proofreading, editing, and so forth. And now, I’ll let her tell you a little more:

“Introducing…

“Rachel, the new intern!

“Hey, everyone!  I just started working with Robin and I’m so excited to be a part of All On The Same Page Bookstore for the summer!  It’s an amazing place full of all kinds of books and lots of St. Louis community spirit.

“Here’s a little introduction so you can get to know me a bit:

“I’ve lived in St. Louis all of my life and graduated from Ladue Horton Watkins High School.  Now, I’m studying English at Maryville University.  Some of my favorite things in the world are books, chocolate, elephants, and traveling.  Two of my absolute favorite places to go to are the Fabulous Fox Theatre and the Muny in Forest Park.  I love hearing and learning people’s stories, so I’m really looking forward to exploring the book selection in the bookstore.  I hope you all come out to the bookstore and do some exploring, too!

“Don’t forget to stop by this Saturday, May 25th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm to meet local author Ann Hazelwood!”
