Thought I’d just do a brief post today, with another teaser from RECYCLED:

Before the sun rose, they had reached the safe house in Elmhurst. The four of them shared a cubicle in the basement, remodeled for the war that seemed to approaching more rapidly than they’d expected. Abby still didn’t seem quite herself, and Brad was concerned.

“What’s up, Ab? You seem okay with us being here, so what’s going on?”

Abby didn’t answer for a long moment.

“Did you see it, Brad? Riley. It’s… she’s not…”

Hmmm. Wonder what this Riley “is not?” Any ideas? Clues? Guesses?

It won’t be long now, but I will tell you that a good part of this story, the final chapter so to speak, takes place in Chicago. Oh, sure, we’ll be back in St. Louis… and outstate Missouri, but – well, you’re just going to have to read it. J

As you may have heard, RHP’s new fantasy novel is being released this Saturday! We’re having a party at All on the Same Page Bookstore, Creve Coeur, Missouri, from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Author Debbie Manber Kupfer will do a reading from P.A.W.S.at 1:30, and we’ll have refreshments and gift bags for the first fifteen people who purchase a signed copy – plus, we’re doing a drawing for a gorgeous silver cat charm!

If that weren’t enough, AOTSP is also hosting an event that day by Tenth Life Cat Rescue! Tenth Life is a foster and adoption program for kitties here in the St. Louis area. You can info on their programs, purchase Tenth Life merchandise, AND – here’s the best part – visit with a veritable clowder of cats! Tenth Life will be there by 11:00 a.m., so plan to come down and spend some time at the bookstore on Saturday, June 22!
