How to Get Good Books

As you know, if you haven’t been living under a rock and/or if you follow my blog at all, RHP has a new book coming out in a couple weeks – INNspiring Breakfasts! It’s awesome, it’s amazing, and you can pre-order it NOW. Trust me, it’s worth it! And, next Wednesday, you’ll be hearing from Kriss Royer herself – you can get all the inside info on running a B&B and publishing a cookbook!

In the meantime, you can still order, direct from us because hey, it’s DIRECT FROM US, our fantastic children’s book, DEBBIE; our steamy romance, SEVEN DIRTY WORDS; and adult dystopian fiction, REDUCED and REUSED.

Kids from age five and up will love DEBBIE, and maybe, just maybe, she’ll soon have her very own blog (hint, hint, Conny!). And SEVEN DIRTY WORDS has been said to be a “great beach read.” Plus, look for FOUR LETTER WORDS early next year – so now you HAVE to get SDW, no excuses!

(Is it weird that I just talked about a children’s book and a hot romance in the same paragraph? Yes, yes it is. Hmmm.)

REDUCED and REUSED are for grown-ups too – but not “adult” as in “adult,” ya know? But our characters are all, oh, nearly 30 years old or (gasp) even in their forties… Why should teenagers get to have all the fun with guns and things when the world implodes?

So, make a list, click “buy,” and check it twice: you’ll be able to put breakfast in the oven, read to the kids, send them out to play and pick up a good book to read for yourself, whether it’s romance or sci-fi. Or both.

Read, read, read!

Excerpt from RECYCLED

Chapter One

“Hallefrickinluia!” Alison clapped her hand over her mouth as the word exploded into the darkness. She was so excited she dropped her flashlight. Hastily retrieving it, she smacked it a few times before the light came on again, shining it around the small room. She quickly climbed the ladder and ascended into the kitchen of the abandoned camper, turning off the light once again, making her way quickly back to the others.

The door flew open, and Alison was instantly covered by three weapons pointed directly at her head.

“Sorry,” she said, “but you are not going to believe this!”

Guns were holstered, and Brad grabbed her by the shoulders. “You almost got shot, dammit! What’s so important that you completely forgot protocol and just busted in here?”

“Chill, Brad.” Alison poked him in the chest and he immediately released her, sitting back down at the table. “I went over to my friends’ old camper, the one I found yesterday? Guess what was there?”

Abby looked at her. “Guns or tequila, if I have to guess,” she said drily.
